Anybody else notice that it seems to have been a quick 26 years?!
I have 4 kids, 25, 23, 21, and 6 (oops!) and 3 grandkids. After leaving Battle, I did 3 years in the Army, most of it in Germany and finished up at Ft. Bragg. Started attending Highlands but was hired as a State Trooper and didn't get to finish a degree at the time. ved back down to Abingdon in the mid 90's. Got married again in 99 and moved to Galax. I've been driving a truck now for almost 10 years, but I went back for a second tour with the National Guard and have started working on my BA in Emergency Management. That might get put on hold as we are prepping for tour in Iraq in April 08.
To add a footnote, I am now writing from Basra, Iraq. We arrived here in December and will be here until next November 09.
