James's Story
Graduated high school and attended college at VU. Got Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering. Transferred to U of E, was married to my high school sweetheart(Helen Farrar). Helen and I will be married 44 years on 7/12/12. Was working nightshift at Whirlpool. Couldn't keep up the grades. Changed major to Math and Physics and transferred to OCC. Went to college for four years and started work for Public Service Indiana(Gibson Generating Station). Worked my way up to Electrical Supervisor in 5 years....Expand for more
Retired after 30 years of service in 2004 and Helen and I have been traveling a lot. Helen and I have one son David and a grandson Nathan. Nathan graduated GSHS and will be attending U of E this fall.
Nathan is in his last semester at U of E and will be graduating in 2012. He is married and living in Evansville. His wife is a graduate of USI and works in Evansville in accounting. Helen's health has detereated considerably due to her MS and diabetes. We hope to see you all at the 45th year class reunion.
