I am so enjoying my retirement years...It's so fun to get to do whatever I feel like for a change! Got to see a lot of doe in my sister's yard and visit Cripple Creek, CO - what a beautiful drive up to an elevation of about 9000 feet as well as a great fun place to go see! Thanks for all who visit my profile page! I enjoy your visits....I also enjoy strolling down memory lane when I get the chance... I hope my friends will remember me as a kind hearted soul, who remained loyal to a fault (even though I was a rebel to a fault also). I will always remember my friends with a fondness and recall our happy and sometimes sad days at Artesia High! I miss that old school building - bats and all! I have fond memories (mostly) of The Stand near Jr. high school and Frenchie's as those were the salvation from cafeteria food! Sometimes, I let my mind wander back and revisit my favorite hangouts and my fun times with great friends! I hope all the kids I went to school with from 1960-1963 are all doing well wherever they all are! I sometimes miss my school days and think of all the times we all shared in one way or another! Hooray! My husband is colon cancer free and no longer on chemo! He retired with just a few days less than 40 years in the military and has been found to be 100% disabled from injuries received during active duty by the VA.
