Jo Ann's Story
Just thought I'd put down a few details if anyone's interested ;)
Married 18 years , 11 year old son, currently hanging out in Wayne. Seems like I've spent most of my life on Route 80.
Self employed as a consultant/trainer. I work on long and short term projects for clients. Here's my company name. KRG Communications Group. You can check out my website, which is krgcommunications dot com.
Finally got my Master's degree a few years ago. I could stay in school forever, but real life intervenes. I'd love to study organizational behavior at the doctoral level or at the very least general psychology.
The other side of my professional life is my music. I actually have a paying church gig these days. Looking for more work in that area (my current voice teacher keeps egging me on to do more). Life is good. Had some opportunities to travel, both on my dime and someone else's (business travel CAN be fun!) Favorite spot is Key West.
True story: I was recently on a cruise and found myself seated at a table with someone (Joe Garrett?) from the class of 76 - who lived a couple of blocks from me (Main St and Arnot Pl). Sad to say, I had no recollection - but what a small world...
Currently sandwiched, as I'm sure many of us are, between parents in ill health and children (mine's career goal is to play in the NBA - which I will support actively and wholeheartedly until he chooses otherwise - in the meantime lots of basketball camps!). This is life, however. We get the good, the bad and the ok. It's all what we make of it. And as my husband likes to say "consider the alternatives". I always feel it's a priviledge to be able to be there for my parents.
