Nancy's Story
I truly WAS Nancy Churchill and am now Nancy Clark. I have been so many places and done so many things in the years since I went to school at WHRHS. I married young and had two sons. I traveled and lived in several different states, traveled in Europe and lived for 3 years in Africa. I was divorced and remarried and divorced a second time. I now live in rural West Virginia and teach at the middle school level - well not really at the middle school level - I teach students who are in middle school but who have s...Expand for more
pecial needs and function well below grade level. My students are nonverbal and have autism. I have layers of living and stories to tell. Ask me some questions and I'll tell you no lies. I understand myself more now than I ever did when I was a kid. I think I was afraid to trust the friendships of childhood so as an adult, I have learned that friends and family are the most important part of life - everything else can come and go but somehow those ties really do bind with threads of silk - strong, soft, binding.
