Christina's Story
I have worked very hard in life, and I feel I am a stronger person for it. I ask for nothing unless it has to do with my children, because I am a proud single mother of three. I still love Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bonnie Raitt, The Judds, Dixie Chicks, Eagles, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tracy Chapman and many more. I sing when I can (and my brother even says I am good) lol. I cherish my children with all my heart and obviously am CURSED in love. Nonetheless, I have a great job and boss, great children and family that will be there no matter what.

I have struggled with alcoholism for 19 years. I certainly never thought my life would turn out the way it has. But on May 1, 2011 I turned a new leaf. That is my sobriety date and I'm grateful to God and countless others who have helped me in my recovery. I am now 20 months sober (almost 2 years) and my life is still not where I'd like it to be but it's a thousand percent better than it used to be. I just want to give the glory to God and let my classmates know that there is always hope. If anyone wants to chat, I'm on Facebook.
