Pam's Story
Here's some highlights from the past 40 years--hhmmm--how to sum up many years in a few sentences?
I've been in Fairfax, VA for the past 13 years where I've worked in Gifted Education in the local schools. I've been in the field of education in various capacities since graduating from U.K.; have lived in Calif, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and now VA. My son, Erick, works in NYC since receiving an MBA from Harvard last year--it gives me a good excuse to explore the city every few weeks, one place I never thought I'd find myself. tepchildren (from a second marriage that ended a few years ago)--they are still an integral part of my life. And, of course, my other child is Rainier, my Bernese Mountain Dog.
Other things I've enjoyed: I'm a Sierra Club hike leader; love to ski in Colorado; traveled to Europe on occasion (with and without groups of students); have been an avid caver. I enjoy volunteering and am currently active in several community organizations.
I'm looking forward to our 40th high school reunion and catching up with what others from Tates Creek are up to.
