Mark's Story
I always wanted to be an architect when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
Listen to music (at home) or taking a random drive (not so much lately with the price of gas what it is!)
I cut classes and shoplifted (in junior high!). In high school, I "ran away from home" one night. All the way to Wood Dale, where my father was living at the time. My parents separated in my Freshman year, and their divorce was final my Senior year.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a bottle of water, a good lunch, and music to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My heroes in life: God, my parents, my wife and her parents.
I would like to see Ms. Salmon from Lively Jr. High. She was our creative writing teacher all three years. She allowed me to express myself in ways I didn't know I could.

12, I thought that people my age now would be all be parents. I was so completely wrong. Children aren't for everyone.
My best friend would tell you I'm quite the talker, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet and aloof.
I share my home with my cat, Maddy, which I find amusing and challenging at the same time.
My first job was at Elk Grove Village Public Library, where I got paid (I don't remember what minium wage was at the time) to put books & periodicals away. What I remember most about it is I learned the Dewey Decimal system..
My oldest friend is my wife, Kathy. We met in fall of 1981 at Harper College. First, we were part of the same social scene, which migrated into a clique. Then we became friends and friends to another couple who were dating. Next, I met her family. Our 14th anniversary is this month, but I've known her twice as long.
