Susan's Story
I always wanted to be an archeologist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a out there idea since they didn't think I would do all that studying. As it turns out, they were right. I then thought I wanted to travel across America on horseback with my best friend Marie. Being young, everything is possible isn't it?
The person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Eleanor Marie Haines, because she was the absolute best friend I have ever had.
Probably not many remember me but anyway, i left home at 16. got crazy for a few years then i met and married my husband at 19. i am still crazy but now have someone to share it with! we've been married for 34 years. we are happy and have 4 kids. our 3 sons are grown and we have a 13 year old daughter and a 9 year old grand daughter.
My oldest son and his wife with our grand daughter bought the house right next door to ours. They just had a new baby girl this Feb 2009. She is a beauty. It's like "everyone loves Raymond". I work at UPS and have been there for 22 years. OMG!
We have 2 parrots, 2 cats and 1 fish and now we have a puppy named Callie.
We are constantly babysitting 2 of our sons dogs. it is like i have 3 furry hairy grand sons....Blah-Blah Blah blah...
I always dream I should have other lives going on at the same time. There are so many things that I have wanted to do and other people I have wanted to be with. It would be amazing to live several lives at the same time and just check in with myselves(?) periodically.
I think often that it stinks that you make a decision when you are young; then honor, love, and committment binds you to it. there is no way to ever persue your other dreams without betraying your own values. So why can't we have simultaneos lives!!?? I think I hear the men in the white coats coming, do you?
It gets quite upsetting if I think about it too much. i can feel the hives erupting.
don't worry, I'll be ok...it's just all those little dots I licked a long time ago....before I knew better.:-)
