Hmmm, my story.. Let me think.... Well it all started back when I was a wee little lad growing up in the foothills of... wait, that's a little too far back. Well, high school at Rancho was pretty much uneventful. I spent most of my years at school hanging with the stoner/metal crowd in the smoking area. Outside of that, I had a few other friends here and there but seems to me I didn't interact too much. (a side note, this text is brutal on these old eyes of mine...) Friends came and friends went mostly due to the military and school zoning changes. Anyway, shortly after high school and following several failed restaurant attempts. I stumbled onto a $5/hour laborers job working for a company that was building a power plant at state line, NV/CA. I ended up switching from the construction side to the operations side and spent 8 years out there. Started as a laborer (literal ditch digger) and ended as a Control Room Operator. I have been hooked on power generation ever since. However, in those eight years, I lost touch with everyone and everything from my past. But in that eight years I did meet my wife (lived two doors down), we met in 89 and were marrie...Expand for more
