UPDATE: September 3, 2015 2014 was not a great year, I spent 5 months in Arizona caring for my terminally ill mother, then cleaning out her home. Once I got home I had to make room for all of my parents things I didn't think I could live without, my home is bulging but I got everything put away. Mother's services and inurnment were in Douds, Iowa in September 2014. Spending a great deal of time sewing for family and friends, keeps me out of trouble. Looking forward to the 50th class reunion in October! UPDATE July 19, 2011 I retired from the Sheriff's Office on October 1, 2010. I can't say enough about the merits of retirement. Still working on closets and deep house cleaning, but because I'm retired, I work at my pace, which isn't very fast. My Father passed away a year ago. My Mom is doing wiell. I'm finished with Chemo so the waiting game is on, so far, so good. The class reunion in October was a wonderful event. Kudos to the planners, they really did a fine job!
