Christopher's Story
I'm currently still in the military. After gradution I enlisted in the Army and was stationed at Ft Bliss, TX. In 1998 I joined the Texas Army National Guard and attended school for my Associates Degree. In 2000 after completion of my degree I enlisted in the US Marine Corps where I was station at Camp Lejeune, NC 2nd Marine Divsion. During that time I toured Okinowa, Japan, and also was part of the Assualt on Iraq during Operation Iraq Freedom 1 campaign. After my completion of my enlistment in 2004 I took 2 weeks off from the military (Civilian life is not for me, lol). o 82nd Airborne as a 11B Infantryman where I was awarded my Combat Infantry Badge for my combat during the Afghanistan Campaign. In 2006 after returning I was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield, GA where I was deployed for 15 months to Baghdad, Iraq. I just got back in July and is currently getting ready to be sent to Ft Brag, NC for school. I was selected for reclassification of my job to PSYOP. So I will attend 13 months of PSYOP training at John F. Kennedy Warfighting School to be followed with my Special Operations Language School. I am currently married to my beautiful wife Carmen and our beautiful 4 children with 1 on the way in April (lol, yes 5!).
