Florence's Story
Well, here's a brief summary of my "story":
I went to Kent State for two years, moved to Minnesota, got married, moved to Seattle, had two wonderful sons, went back to college, got a Masters of Fine Arts degree, taught art at the University of Washington, Bellevue Community College, etc., got divorced (after 20+ years)... end of part 1. (Lived in Seattle for 35 years).
Part 2 - Got tired of the rain forest, aka Seattle, moved to the desert (Las Vegas), now teach at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and have my own (very small) jewelry design business.
I have three beautiful granddaughters (2 live in Las Vegas - my younger son is a fitness specialist and personal trainer here). My oldest granddaughter lives in Seattle ( my son there is a radio deejay and has his own comic (as in Marvel) company. ...Expand for more
Life has had ups and downs (like I even need to mention that fact of life) but overall, I have been blessed with really good family, friends, much love, and great health.
So... hey... no complaints.
Part 3 - TBD
I answered the Q&A page, but I'm not sure it is visible so here's my take on that:
I pray, chant, meditate...cover all bases.
I read the book AND see the movie.
I like the Rolling Stones AND the Beatles... depends on my mood.
I flip back and forth from Leno to Letterman.
I don't drink coffee, but Starbuck's has great chai tea and green tea lattes.
Generic or brand names work, EXCEPT my toilet tissue has to be Charmin Ultra : )
And like most folks, I prefer to save for it...but after all, what are charges for it you don't use 'em?
As you can see, I can adapt.
