Peg's Story
Hello to fellow SCHS'ers, it's been fun to re-connect with a few of you, and would love to hear from more of you. How about a re-union, anyone up for it?
Mark and I have been in Manhattan since graduating as KSU graduates back in the 70's. We have two grown children and 4 grandchildren where we travel to see in Arizona and Alabama.
Mark has retired from the newspaper business but still writes and is the lead writer for the K-State Fan website during K-State football and basketball seasons. During the off season he does free lance writing along with our fun travels and visiting the grandchildren.
I know nothing than intrepreneurship, guess I'm just too set in my ways and like my own schedule, I work hard and then I play hard, no way could I have a boss. Have built my business with Mary Kay the past 31 years, am responsible for women in my unit that live in 25 different states so I get to travel and train them to excell their businesses. And of course I run my local business of clientelle as well.
Recently I've just added to my business, a health suppliment in Max GXL, a natural and pure glutathione enhancer that makes your body maximize to its full...Expand for more
est performance level, wow I feel like I'm in my 30's again. Let me know if you need your energy back again, mid-afternoon time, anyone else not enjoying this getting OLD STUFF?
And during my free time I like to design greeting cards with photos and utilize my SendOutCard buiness. It's been a great way to keep in touch with people, want a card from me, let's get your picture and BD into my system, and then I won't ever forget you again. I promise you, if we ever get to have a class re-union I'll have my camera with me.
I also enjoy a Bible Study group of women that has helped me grow in the Lord, the Beth Moore bible studies are my favorite. I also work at the Food Pantry on an occasion and help cook and serve a community dinner for the homeless, those two outings really serve as a reminder for me to count my personal blessing. Mark and I have truly been blessed with a happy and abundant life.
All for now, I do hope and pray that there will be an occasion soon where we can all come together to enjoy one each other once again. In one respect life does get better with age and I think its time we share that with one another. Blessings to you all....pjj
