Cornelius's Story
Greetings to everyone
I attended Fort Dearborn Elementary School from 1970-1978, and then I attended Goethal elementary for my 8th grade class in which I graduated in 1979. I then attended Calumet High School in which I did one semester, until 1980 where I transfered to Carver Area High School from 1980-1981 I lived with my Grandparents and I helped take care of my sick Grandfather. After the passing of my sick Grandfather I transfered back to Calumet and remained until 1983.
During the time spent at Carver I sang in the church chior and realized singing was not for me, and picked up a bass guitar and studied...Expand for more
it until I was confident enough to play in front the congregation.
I then went on to take my musical skills further learning different styles and techniques to better my craft. Today my skills are somewhat distinctive, I was once told that "a person should know who you are within three notes".
Career wise, I work for the Chicago Transit Autority repairing, and troubleshooting trains, yet another challenge for me because it keeps my mind working. Well this is my lifes story summed up in a few paragraphs, I could go on but I may not have enough room in here, so take care and be blessed.
