Terrence's Story
THe picture above is of my son Luke Benjamin McCarthy He was born on Thanksgiving dAY 2006. He is all boy and all movement. Really he is great and the love of our lives. We are so blessed to be his Mom & dad.
I graduated from Utica College in 1990 and was an Occupational Therapist working mostly with children for 15 years. I went back to school to the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg and i just graduated this May (2009) with a Masters in Divinity. I am going to serve as a year as a Chaplain resident at York Hospital in York Pennsylvania and after that I'll be assigned a church or another ministry through the Lutheran Church and be ordained a pastor. Its been a long road getting there.
My wife Susan & I were married in 2000. We've had lots of changes and some difficult losses in our lives over that times, but we have endured....Expand for more
She is planning a Cruise for our tenth anninersary next year- a second honeymoon- so that should be nice. I planned the first one. we went to Big Sur California & San Francisco that was terrific. We like to hike, to spend time with our dog- mACARONI AND OF COURSE WITH lUKE. wE ENJOY EATING OUT AND COOKING TOGETHER AND WORSHIP AND QUIET TIME. sHE STARTED SEMINARY A FEW YEARS BEFORE I DID. sO SHE IS AN ORDAINED PASTOR OF A SMALL COUNTRY CHURCH near Gettysburg.
WE are moving this July into a small parsonage near her church this summer- We are looking forward to that- It has a beautiful yard, its out in the country and is right next door to Luke's Baby Sitter. Although it is small. It was fully gutted and newly renovated. So its like moving into a new house.
Well I'm sure thats enough for now.
