Tony's Story
Being a "Kincheloe" kid, I left RHS midway thru my senior year and graduated from Pasadena High in Texas.
Got married, did a hitch in the air force during Nam, discharged and went to Houston for seven years and worked as a tech rep for the ABDick co. We raised, trained, showed and raced horses as a hobby and a way to spend every dime we made. hmmmm, yeah, that's about it, ya gotta love it. Moved to Colorado Springs in '77, got divorced in 82, remarried in 83 and lost her to cancer in 92, been single ever since. (still lookin') Retired from my own business in 96 and built a log cabin in the mountains in central Co. Lived out my dreams on that mountain, riding and hunting and playing guitars at the Freshwater bar and grill in Guffey Co. In 2005 I came down from the mountains and returned to Texas where I still have some family. I bought some land near Leona
and am trying to become a re-patriated Texican. A long road since Rudyard but I think often of some of the friends I made there....so here I am trying to reach across years and fading memories. I hope all are well, life is good

nior, class of '63 and Cheri, a junior class of 64. Our fathers were transferred out of Kincheloe in late 62-early 63. Like so many young lovers we vowed to see each other again but life and 47 years got in the way. I finally found her in 1979 but she was in a committed relationship and, I guess, thought I was nuts for spending the time, energy and money to find her. I talked to her a few times via telephone and we exchanged a few letters. I never saw her but could never shake her from my mind. I had never stopped loving her. In September of 2009 I was able to send her an email after some difficulty. She eventually responded and we communicated for several months and I flew out to Florida. 47 years, three months and one day from the last time we saw each other, I held her in my arms and all the fires of our old love were rekindled. After a half dozen trips to see each other we are much in love and we will be married soon and she will make her home with me here in Texas.
Up date, 9/02/16 Cher passed away quietly from the return of breast cancer she had defeated in 2007, We never completed out dream of being man and wife but we shared her last seven years and I am so thankful. She's in my heart, still...as always.
