Christine's Story

I hope old friends remember that I was just as the title suggests, a good friend. Someone who listened and cared about them and the events in their life. I would hope that they remember me being fun and creative and giving. I always wanted to be a successful person when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right. I may not have all the material possessions in the world a person could ever want and I may not be the richest person in the world, but I personally feel success should not be measured by the amount of oney you make or all the material possessions a person incurs over a life time. Instead by the friendsips I have made, and the people I have come into contact with and helpto be successful in thier own lives. My favorite way to elax is to spend time with the man of my dreams and my children and grandchildren. My grand daughter makes me smile and melts my heart every time I see her. The wildest thing I ever did in school, lol well most will remember I was not exactly a wild person, but I would have to say was probably Merri Stratton's BD Party in her Aunts Basement. LOL remember that one girls. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, gum , and choclate to be able to deal with the day-to-day. Hmmmm, a hero and my inspiration, thats a tuff question, specially now with the changes in my life as of late. Kinda makes me look at things a bit differently. I think my inspiration comes from those around me who care about me and I care about them. I am inspired to help others be successful, and when they achieve and overcome obstacles in thier life, I am more and more inspired. I have lived in Newaygo Count...Expand for more
y pretty much most of my life, I have lived in White Cloud for over 20 years. I like it here. If I move away it will be because I have married my Prince charming and chose to start afresh some where else, but won't be to far away. To be truly happy I would be in the arms of the most adorable man I have ever met, loving him for the rest of my life, as his wife, where ever he chose to take me, because I would follow him any where he ask me to go. I can say that with ease because I know that he would take my interests and feelings into consideration before making any choices as to where life would take us. I would follow him to the ends of earth and back! If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have Cofee, gum, and choclate to be able to deal with the day-to-day. Lol. I work at 2 seperate jobs! My main job is at Jack D Jones Elementary school in White Cloud MI. I have worked there for 16 years. Currently I work with special needs students! My 2nd job is at Camp Henry between white cloud and Newaygo. My job there is to cook food nd serve a number of people! I love both my jobs. My Inspiration comes from the people who love me and care about me. They are what truly inspire me to be a better person. My boyfriend, John, inspires me to be a kind, understanding person who strives to help others, because whenever I am with him that is what reflects off of him. His actions by far speak more than any words can. When I am upset and something is causing me to feel angry or hurt he encourages me to see a brighter side and be calm and relaxed and put a smile on my face. I am happy for the most part with the person I have always been but I love the person I am becoming with him.
