I lived in Butler, on Union Street, across from the Fire Station. I was in Butler elementary & Junior High,& made the switch to Clearfork the first year it was open.I had to leave Butler in 1966-67, which of course was our first full year as "Clearfork", (Would have been Clearfork High Class of '68). I enrolled at "Mansfield Senior" for my senior year, but my friends were always the people in Butler. didn't like the big city school, so quit & joined the army in '68,(A tour in "NAM", a wife, 2 daughters & a divorce). '72: A guitar, backpack and lots of highway, saw most of this country,8 months in Fla.,got certified as a millwright,precision mech. machinist, aircraft mech.& Journeyman welder,(worked construction to support my travels),2 yrs. in Arizona, lots more road time, a yr. in N.Minn.,road time & settled in S.W. Washington in '76. I live in the shadow of Mt. St. Helens, right between the ocean & the Cascade mountains. Married again in'82, 2 wonderful sons, divorced after 24yrs.
