Cheryl's Story
...after high school... I married Ellis King on May 1, 1984.
On November 9,1985 we had Bethany. He and I had a rough marriage that ended in 1987. I met a man from Massachusetts, Joe Tangocci, and moved with Bethany to live with him there. In 1991 Ellis died of cancer. January 3, 1992 I married Joe, and on February 15 of that same year I had Adam. Joe's job requires him to travel and it took him away from us a lot. So being lonely, I made many wonderful friends on the east coast and enjoyed the beautiful country and seasons. On January 16, 2000 we had Luke, whom we affectionately call Lucky :) In 2002 Joe got a job transfer for us to move to the west coast. untry! Not long after our move, September 13, 2003, we had Levi. Joe continued to travel and as our family grew larger, sadly, we grew apart. After building our home and trying several times to make things work, Joe and I have separated. He lives in our home and I have my own apartment only 4 miles away. We share custody of the boys, although we haven't filed any papers. In this economy you almost can't afford to get a divorce! I am currently looking for employment (just like the majority of the country) and am considering going back to college in the spring. I just bought my first truck! A JEEP! First automobile I've ever owned :) The boys and I are enjoying my apartment and my freedom.... and I am content with my life the way it is now.
