Elmer's Story
I graduated and went to work at fireproof storage and van in knoxville.got a job offer from general processing and went to work ther until I got a JOB OFFER FROM UNCLE SAM. went to Fort Campbell, Fort Eustis Virginia, Fort Benning where I volunteered for assignment in south east Asia. Got that job too.I stayed with that for a year included the tet offensive. got sent to Germany from there and spent 13 months enjoying the good german beer, then Uncle Sam cut me loose and back to general processing. Married Ann Turner. She and I raised three pretty good kids. In 1984 I went to work for the state at Bledsoe county state prison just in time for the 85 riots. Im still there for the rest of this year if things go as planned in 2011 im gonna take a job hunting fishing ,gardening ,and loafing for E....Expand for more

John L. Davis my dad. He grew up without knowing his dad who was killed in an accident when pop was three or so. With no education he worked hard raised 4 kids that were allways fed clothed and taken care of. Also add to the list my grandfather Fred wilson Uncle Major Davis,uncles Wed and Walter Music,All Old Soldiers
Everyone I know who acheived any degree of success did it by hard work.I tell all my kids they can have anything they want if they are willing to work for it. Ive also learned that when you get older things you thought you couldnt live without and just had to have you dont even want any more.
