Daniel's Story
I guess if I'm going to be part of this "Class Mates" thing I might as well be a full player. After high school I tried college briefly, but ended up in the Air Force for 5 years. I moved to CA in 1966 and worked in the airline industry. In 1969 I transferred to AK where I met my future wife. In 1970 I was transferred back to Los Angles; got married; went back to college and graduated 1972. We moved back AK in 1972 and I got a job with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. We have 2 children; our son is here in AK and our daughter is in Denver, CO. Since retirement I have been active in Habitat for Humanity and for awhile in the clean indoor air (anti-tobacco) movement. Both my wife and I enjoy traveling and since my retirement we have tried to take trip each year - Peru, Thailand/Viet Nam, China, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Central America plus some shorter trips in the US and Canada.
