Ronald's Story

After 8 years teaching philosophy at universities in PA[Duquesne in Pittsburgh and the University of Scranton], I went back to grad school [while working full time to support my family, installing cable tv] and got a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling. I worked for over 30 years managing programs that supported the efforts of persons with mental illnes to achieve their quality of life goals. ised a 3 county area for the SW MT outpatient drug rehab program. These were the only positions I held in MT. Before going to grad school at Duquesne in Pittsburgh,and after I was married, I worked as a stripper in the Zinc electrolizing plant at the smelter. I also worked as a pipefitter at the Phillips refinery in GF...the place that stunk up the city when the wind blew. When I came home, my wife made me change my clothes on the porch before I entered the house... both were real healthy jobs before OSHA became influential!].
