David's Story
High School was a very difficult time for me. Like many I'm sure, as I was very insecure, I struggled and left High School with no lasting friendships and have had little reason to keep in touch or attend reunions etc.
I joined the Royal Bank right out of High School in 1973 and turned it into a very good career which lasted 25+ years.
During one of my stops (Armstrong B.C.), I met my wife Narda and we recently celebrated 27 years of marriage. I have 2 step daughters (Keri & Kelly), both of whom are now happily married with families of their own. We currently have 6 grandchildren, whom we love dearly.
I left RBC in 1997 and Narda & I spent 4 years living and working with our Church Mission in Nairobi, Kenya and Kampala, Uganda. We returned in 2001 for health reasons but brought home many wonderful memories.

ging their commercial lending department in Kelowna for the past 8 years. I just recently left them and am going to try to retire - at least for a while, until I get bored and need something else to do to keep me busy.
We are currently living in Kelowna, BC and have been here since 1988. This is home for us and I see little reason for us to relocate as we love it here. Now that I am looking at retirement we will probably spend parts of our winters in warmer clients and have made a number of trips to Lake Havasu City this past few years.
I have no idea how anyone would remember me, but I don't think it would be that good as I didn't fit in, was very insecure and I wonder even today, how I managed to survive and grow into the person I have become today. A good wife and family probably help alot and of course for us, a found faith in Christ has carried us through many difficult times.
