Denise's Story

After High School I went to UMA and majored in Criminal Justice Corrections. Got married in 1972 and divorced in 1992. I moved to Southern Alabama in 1998 and met my 2nd husband here. We married in 1999 and he passed away May 2008. We were musicians and played in local clubs. After he passed away I continued my music and met my current husband while I was performing in January of 2009. I am best friends with his sister and he came up from Tampa to visit his sisters and Debbie introduced us. We were just married this last September...Expand for more
. I have a home in Alabama and 3 rental properties. He works for the Florida Park Service and is a Ranger at the Gamble Mansion in Ellenton, Fl. He will retire in 3 years and we will return to Alabama. 2 of my sons live there also. My daughter lives in Tx. and my youngest son still lives in Maine. I have many many grandchildren but I am only in contact with my daughteres 2 girls. I am still playing in a band. we are called " 50 Somethin' " My drug of choice is riding my motorcycle. It is the most theraputic activity in the world.

Taking Brie to the vet today for her shots and some blood work. She will have surgery on Friday the 11th to remove a cancerous cyst on her back hind quarter.
