Dale's Story
I graduated from Hale High in 1983. I went in the Navy and ended up in Great Lakes Naval Training Center near Chicago for boot camp. I spent 8 weeks in boot camp and then another 6 months at the training center. From there I went to Orlando Fl for Nuclear Power School for 6 months and then off to Idaho Falls, Id for 6 months for Nuclear Power Prototype training. ack to Chicago for another 6 months for some more schooling. After which I ended up in Norfolk, Va. on my second fast attack the USS Glenard P. Lipscomb. SSN 685. I was honarable discharged in 1990 and then took a job with ALCOA in Newburgh, In. I am still here.
Meet my wife in San Diego and married her in Virginia Beach, Va. My first child was born in 1990. The second was born in 2003. The first being my son and the second being my daughter.
Went to Univeristy of Phoenix online and earned a BS in Information Technology in 2006.
