Connie's Story
Thirty plus years!! I've done several things.I became a teacher in the Dekalb County School System. I still teach in the system. I had the opportunity to become a Journalist / News reporter for a small city news paper for a couple of years. My brother (Greg Owens) and I opened a Black Art Gallery in Clarksville Tenn. a few years back. A great learning experience. We do weddings,graduations, baby showers,retirement parties you name it, all for a reasonable price.I still love sports and play. I coach an elementary school girls team in Basketball, I mentor kids.I have two wonderful children-son(Tyrrell) daughter ( Lakayla) My son is in the Navy , my daughter in college-studying Marine Biology. I have so much to be thankful for.
