Elizabeth's Story
I graduated from Colorado Women's College in 1979. Moved to Norfolk, Va and worked for Old Dominion University as a secretary to the Dean of Education. I married in December of 1979 and had twin sons on June 4, 1983. I received a Masters Degree in Mass Communications in May of 1983. elgas and started his own business. We divorced in 1993. Chad, Ryan, and I moved to Haslett, MI near Lansing that year. I began teaching for the Lansing School District in 1996. I have always taught 1st or 2nd grade. I am currently at Attwood Elementary. I love it there! I married Mike Tillman in 2000. He was also a teacher for Lansing. He retired after 32 years in Physical Education and 4/5 grades in 2005.
