dorothy's Story

nd coworkers and miss the paycheck! My husband was injured at work and was eligible for retirement as well, so we followed our sons to the midwest and then to Alabama about 1 1/2 years ago. Unfortunately my husband lost his battle to cancer after only six months in our new home. He was a Viet Nam vet and it was agent orange that caused his cancer. He was an amazing proud husband and father who swore he'd do it again! We had a great life and I promised to make the most of the remainder of mine. While I miss him terribly, I feel grateful for what we had. Some people never experience what we did, so I promised to stand tall, be proud, and rock on!
