Sharon's Story

My family moved around a lot during my growing-up years, so I was always kind-of on the outside, looking in. I actually started school at Woodrow Wilson Elem., Manhattan, KS, but then we moved away for about 8 years. I went to Manhattan, KS Jr High in 1956-57, moved to Clay Center, KS for 1958, moved to Kearney, NE for 1959-60, then to Hastings, NE. We moved 2 months before graduation, to Falls City, NE, but I got permission from HHS to come back and...Expand for more
graduate with my Class of '61. I regret to say I haven't seen any of you since. I've been widowed for a year and a half, have 6 kids, 18 grandkids and 28 great-grandkids now, with 3 more on the way. You can imagine the crowd when we all get together for a family shindig.....and that's not counting spouses. I would love to visit with any of my old high school friends in Manhattan, Clay Center, Kearney or Hastings. Love and Hugs from Sharon
