Debbie Manley's Story
Life
Jr. High seems forever ago, good and funny memories there... a big time of change for kids as we began the struggle to find who we are.
I had some fun with friends in my early 20's. Friends I have had since grammer and jr. high school. We are still friends today. My main goal for the last almost 17 yrs, is to be a good Mom. For the last 10 years, a good wife. I look forward to my childrens lives as adults, it is exciting to see what they are to become, watching them grow and change is really amazing. My husband was raised Catholic and I was rasied non denominational christian, so together we have become members of the Lutheran LCMS church and are active there. We have met a lot of good friends. Us Lutherans like to have a good time (if you are Lutheran you know what I mean)!! Seriously though, God has done wonders for my life, marriage, and peace of mind. It is nice to know you do not have to do "it" alone. Life I mean! I take greater pleasure in watching my children love and respect Him. I look forward to a time when my husband and myself can travel tog. and have much more "us" time, when our children begin their lives away from ours. Almost one down... two more to go.. Ha! till pretty young! So, here is a little about them... our kids...
We have three great kids. Our eldest Kenny, is 6ft. 2' will be 17 in Sept. He is his senior class pres. of the student council. He plays baseball, runs cross country, and basketball. Kenny does ministry tours that take him all over the U.S. He will go to college in the fall of 08'. Our middle boy Charlie will be 8 in Sept. He is 4ft 7'... loves frogs, lizards, snakes, bugs, (any kind of animal) ,baseball, soccer, cubscouts,swimming,basketball and will start 4H in the fall of 07'. Our daughter Maegan is 6 yrs old, she is 4ft. 3' and loves soccer, swimming, girl scouts, last year Maegan played baseball and started piano, she will continue her 4th yr. in dance (tap, ballet, jazz) and will also begin 4H in the fall... we are always busy running around and my husband coaches their seasonal teams a lot. It is fun, although chaotic. We have a German Shepherd named "Jack" two cats named "Susie" and "Simba" and hope to have more animals in the near future. My husband works as a foreman plumber and I teach Preschool. We live on an acre and are remodeling our home. We love take to our travel trailer camping... when time allows! That's about all for me... I could not be more happy. Hope most of you have found relative happiness too!
