Aaron's Story
Ok, for my pal Rick, a bit more...Wasn't long in Cd'A HS. Some knew me as the kid who drew a lot. Being the solitary type I kept to myself. Met a few cool people, some I met lately again.
My life went a different direction than I imagined. Became a longhair industrial music fan. Not the short hair quiet geek I was. Now an eccentric artist type.
Single, no kids thankfully. Another thing that radically changed as I grew up. My worldview was shattered and had to learn the hard way the world is not your friend, and there are few in it that are true friends.
So from the quiet kid who believed in everything I became the sarcastic, sometimes caustic cynic who doesn't believe in much.

Other than that I gave up on any aspirations of being an artist years ago. I do the odd piece now and again, but it sure as hell doesn't pay the bills.
I'm working on a painting for a friend in a death metal band, and ironically one of the members in the pic just quit the band. I'm not changing the painting. Maybe later. After they get a new drummer.
I was a stepdad for a couple years, my exes daughter just had her second kid earlier this month.
I'm looking forward to pursuing photography as a hobby. I had some people over the years assume I was a photographer by profession, watching me take shots. Eh, whathehell. I'll see if I can make a few bucks doing that as well.
Not much to add for now...more when I'm focused. I'm watching john Carpenter's The Thing. Appropriate as it's cold as hell outside...
