I don't know everything, and I'm definitely not glamorous. But who really does fit into either one of those REALLY these days?
All I can say for myself, and hopefully for any of you... is that I try.
I have my faith and though I fall short and I've definitely had my doubts in the past, nothing can take that from me now and I could never deny any of what I've seen and felt.
I have my family, though not always as close as family should be, there's still no bond stronger than blood
I have my friends who when down and out have picked me up, and I them.
And I have the movement I made an oath to years ago [August 7, 2001], Straight Edge. It doesn't have the greatest rep, but what matters is what's in my heart. When it comes down to it, at least I believe in something.
With all of this... my entire life is an accountability check to help me better myself day by day, for my God, for myself, and for the ones I love. My life's a constant work in progress, and I am perfectly ok with that. As mentioned, I am far from perfect but I am anxious for every moment that I live another day.".
