Aaron's Story
Hi, I didn't graduated in 1966 but 1967. Don't know how I was placed in your class but I respected your class so I never changed it. Basketball Gods were not on EDHS side as Ron told me he had a bad knee and couldn't just jump high enough for a dunk. I would like to say "Great Job" tennis teams of 65, 66 and 1967 as we never had the acclaim of football or basketball. We were one of the state's top teams throughout these three years. gifted), Pat Murphy, Neville Thompson, Nicky Schneider and John Shade, Mr. Powell said this team has the best potential to be the greatest team he ever coached. I was placed on doubles with Pat Murphy and we made it to the state finals but could not bring home a trophy for EDHS. One more note: we lost to a pair of Austin High Scholl guys. Catholic school and they recruited the top players in the state. We were all home grown ED guy so just saying....... Warmly Aaron
