Aaron's Story
My times at Delcastle were some of the most memorable times of my life. I was in Food Services and Mr. Chichuk and Mr. Ross Immediato were our shop instructors. Then, we were responsible for preparing meals (on-the-job training) and serving them to the staff and students. I'm surprised that anyone who ate those meals are still alive :-). I was also a member of the Track & Field team where Mr. Ernie Anderson was the coach.
If I start this story beginning with graduation, it would be a novel. Nevertheless, my life's journey has brought me to my present purpose and position. After graduating, I attended the Community College of Baltimore and graduated with an Associates degree in Hotel, Motel & Restaurant Management and Nutrition. everal hotels and nursing homes as the Director of Food Services. While working, I attended several colleges and universities, the last being Howard University School of Divinity. I graduated in 2002 with a Master's degree in Religious Studies. I am the Pastor and founder of Manna Christian Fellowship Church in Wilmington, a ministry that is now almost 14 years old. In the secular field, I have worked the past 7 years for Connections CSP, Inc. where I am the Director of Pastoral Services and the Ombudsman. I also work (18 years) for the Congo Funeral Home as the Chaplain and Spiritual Advisor.
I was a single parent of one son who is now 39 years old. I have 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
I am approaching retirement and looking forward to some "me" time.
