Nancy's Story
Life
After high school I went to Flagler College as a deaf education major. Then I graduated with a BA degree in English Education from UCF. I have been teaching middle school language arts ever since. I love my job and especially influencing teens in a postive way.
I am an aspiring writer with a teen novel and a book of poetry in the works. In my down time, I read John Grisham, Sandra Brown, and Nicholas Sparks novels, write and do many crafts for charity.
I have not been lucky in love. LOL! I married and had two children. Now I am divorced. My daughter is 24 and is doing well. My so...Expand for more
n lived to be 21, but passed away unexpectedly in 2005 due to a congenital heart condition.
I have enjoyed the twists and turns of life and have learned a lot along the way. I am not longer the timid, shy girl I was in high school.
I am back in the Orlando area after having been away since 1982.
College
I finished in 3 years with a BA in English education at UCF. No stories or funny things as I worked and took many classes to get going on my career.
Workplace
I have worked as a teacher since I walked into a job in 1979. I absolutely love it! This is what I was meant to do.
