Life I am currently living in Austin TX. I have 2 boys, both grown. And YES, I'm still playing music in 2 local Rock/Top40 bands called Code Blue and Keepers Of The Rock. I am also a Network Analyst at the State Of Texas Legislative Budget Board. As of Dec. 10th 2008, I became a (eeaakkkk) Grandpa (now a few times over)!!! As of Dec 2nd 2022, I became a (double eeaakkkk) Great Grandpa!! School I went to Lakeside Elementry, Lakeside Jr. High (now Lakeside Middle School) and Santana High, graduating in 1980. As usual, music was my primary focus throughout high school, playing in just about every music class there was. (Yes, I was a band geek) Workplace My primary 'job' after graduating high school was playing music. I held numerous odd jobs in the first 8 years following school including working at a music store, as a commercial photographer, graphics and camera work at a press shop and started my fascination with computers, but the one consistent factor, I was always playing in a band. Some of the bands I played in during this time were, Triple X, Fuze, Red Alert, The Force, Nervus Rex, Relayer and Cinema. The most prolific band I probably played in at the time was called "The Rock". We wrote our own music and were on the verge of the big step of stardom. We took 2nd place at San Diego Rock Wars in 1986 winning recording time at a local studio, semi-finalists at Rock Wars 1989, were in weekly talks with 3 major record companies, Atlantic, Chrysalis and A&M and opened for such bands as The Outfield, John Cafferty, Richard Marx, Steppenwolf and many others. But like most "almost made it" bands, we fell apart at the height of our popularity. Near the end of '89, I moved to Michigan and worked as a warehouse manager and delivery person at Northern Office Supply in Traverse City. I also played in the band "Click" and started a duo with the female vocalist I use to play with in "Red Alert", who also lived there. In 1991, I moved to Carson City NV. I worked as a graphic artist and engraving machine operator at Ponderosa Engraving. I was the co-founder of the band "Bad Intent" and played with them until 1992, when I found myself moving back to San Diego. Between 92 and 94, I held jobs as a computer graphic artist, an IC circuit installer and a short stint at a lighting company.
