Adele's Story

Unfortunately, my family moved to Norfolk Va from Charlotte in April of our Junior year. A very hard time for a young girl of 17 to leave all her friends and the school and boyfriend she loved. Anyway, I survived (even tho it still tics me off!) and have had a pretty terrific life. My husband, Kevin, is the best, and we are enjoying our retirement in Virginia Beach. the Navy, I have been able to live in Europe as well as on some beautiful islands (Bermuda, for one) and have loved traveling and meeting new people. Spent a number of years in the D. C. area where I had the good fortune to work for the Navy as a civilian project manager. I retired in 1998 when we moved to Va. Beach. Very happy to be settled down now and take a trip a year to wherever sounds good - and safe! If you remember me, say "hello".
