Jim's Story

4+ years at Auburn where I met my future wife while I was working in the girls dinning hall in 1969. Graduated AU in Dec 1971 with Electrical Engineering degree. Moved to South FL and married Dianne Booker in 1972. Took up snow sking mainly out west but 1 trip to Austria. Got overweight so got into tennis and jogging, ran a couple of marathons. Now I am just into GOLF (I am a legend in my own mind). Worked for the local Electric Utility (FPL) but retired in 2003 when I got a job offer I could not refuse (best decision I ever made). life revolves around the dog now. I did not think I would still be working but the job is great and I can use the extra $$ to cover the dog's medical bills. Update- After retiring from FPL, I spent 6 years with UtilX Company as VP of Operations. My 2nd and final retirement was in June of 2009. Our first Dog passed. We waited a few months before getting another mutt from the shelter. She looks alot like the first but her disposition is something; she must have had a few problems on the street because she hates motorcycles, bicycles, joggers and ladies with baby carriages! Needless to say but Kylie is well known in our neighborhood.
