Adolph's Story
Life
Hello Classmates,
After graduating from high school I went to Alcorn State University and majored in Mathemathics. I graduated in 1970 with a degree in Math. I started teaching in a little town call Hollindale, MS. I only taught there for the summer. I then moved to Magnolia, MS and started teaching in the South Pike School District. I have been here for the last 34 years. I met my wife in college, we have two sons. My oldest son is married and we have two grand- children. Over the years, I have been a basketball coach, club sponsor, department head and so many other things that relate to teaching. I have managed a fast food restaurant. I have developed my speaking skills to the extent that I have become a m...Expand for more
otivational speaker, and ordained a local elder. I am the founder of a program for young boys called; "Young Men of Honor." I have been very active in working with young people. I have a local radio program called -Holbrook's Effective Living Program (HELP). This it is a Gospel program. I have some of my life goals accomplished, yet I have a lot more to accomplish. You know the goals we have in life are the things that make life exciting. Willie Matt Smith wrote in my class book; "Life is what you make it." That is what we have been doing, making life. I would like to hear from some of you. All for now. Oh! I also write poetry, some of my poems are on poetry.com.
Yours truly,
Adolph Abraham Holbrook
