Life
Born: Managua, Nicaragua July 1, 1939. Arrived in San Francisco, CA in 1945. Served 3 years active duty in the US Airborne and 6 years inactive. Graduated from UC Berkeley in 1966. Became a Community Activist in San Francisco and the Nation for the latter part of the sixties and the ealrly seventies. t Nicaragua as a result of the impending war. Returned to San Francisco to become an educator. Obtained a Masters in Educational Administration from SFSU in 1992. Have now served 22 years in SFUSD as a teacher and administrator. I retired in 2006 and am living in Corning, CA. part-time and San Francisco the rest of the time. Three of my daughters live in the Bay area and we need to see them often.
