Hi to all from the class of '71! Hope all are well. About me . . . I’m married (August 73-Bob) and live in Hazlet Township in Monmouth County. I love the winter, hate the summer. We’re not far from the beach so traffic on the weekends is horrendous. Since 9-11 we’ve had a steady stream of New Yawkers moving in too. This is not the same bedroom community we moved into 38 years ago. I had major back surgery in 2012 (open spinal decompression, laminectomy), didn't fix everything but at least I can walk and don't have to worry about hitting the deck! In 2016 I had a spinal cord stimulator implanted which has to be charged. Guess that makes me bionic, ;-). I just had spinal surgery (cervical) in November and thankfully, all went well and most of the problem and future problem has been averted. Eventually there will be foot surgery but shots have helped with that so far. At least my toes, such as they are, are pointing forward and not up so I’m luckier than some. I never saw any of this coming back in the day. I like wandering around historical places, old towns, antique shops (although with my back that activity has been sidelin...Expand for more
