Adrian's Story
Life
I was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago in the Bridgeport community. I am the oldest of 3 daughters raised by my mom. I was married for 12 years to my first husband and had 5 daughters. I then divorced due to my spouse's drug use and then re-married and am still happily married after 17 years (no additional kids). I am currently self-employed, but worked in recruitment for over 30 years. I attended Richard J. Daley College for a few years and now have B.A.s in Psychology and Social Science with a minor in English. I am attending NLU to obtain my Master's degree in Elementary Education and will graduate December 2016. ourage, and educate in the communities. I've always wanted to teach, so my plan is to teach in both an elementary school and college this Fall. I have a very strong faith in God and I don't believe that going to church is the only path to living right and doing God's will (I know that this can be accomplished in the privacy of your own home as long as you designate time for worship like studying, prayer, meditation, etc.). I accept the right of others to follow a different religious path and think that many paths lead to the same God!! This Capricorn is a nurturer by nature and care greatly about others and their plights. I love meeting others and would love to re-connect with old friends,classmates, and any other persons for networking or fun.
