Adriene's Story
After graduation June, 1964, I enrolled at San Fernando Valley State College, basically because I had nothing better to do. I managed to stay long enough to change my major 3 times and left after 4 years of taking whatever I wanted.
I was married at 19, had my first son at 24, the second at 28 and was divorced at 33 when I was "forced" to get my first job. It was a bit tricky to find one when I had never worked, had no skills and ...Expand for more
really no interest in anything work related. My first job was with the County of Los Angeles, the second with an advertising company in Chatsworth, where I stayed for 30 years, until December 2007, when I was laid off after the company was taken over.
In those 30 years I remarried a wonderful man, did some traveling, moved to West Hills and developed a lot of interest in painting, stained glass, genealogy, books, writing and film.
