Adrienne's Story

I'm enjoying life here in Montreal, Quebec where my high-school French is coming in mighty handy!! I love the beauty and excitement of this city, as well as the mix of cultures. I finished my B.Mus. degree in Waterloo, Ontario (had started it at Douglass College) and I teach piano and clarinet privately and have also taught recorder in an elementary school near my home for 17 years and have directed a synagogue choir for about 10 years. involved in the computer department of Pratt & Whitney Aircraft most of his working life and is now retired. We have two sons: Howard, a doctor in Toronto (married, two sons) and Ken, an accountant in Montreal (married, one son, one daughter). The picture you see here is from our 50th anniversary which we celebrated in 2018. I enjoy singing in a choir and playing chamber music with friends, watching foreign films, cooking, gardening, biking, reading, knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking (I bake all of our bread). My newest hobby is learning Italian through the internet.

Just found this photo of our grandson Noah - he turns 14 years old this month.
Look who I met in my walk this morning. This is the first time I have seen a wild rabbit that was white. There were actually two of them but only one was "posing".

It was a very memorable weekend for us! Our children and their families threw a party Saturday evening and a quiet family brunch Sunday morning to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary- hosted by Ken and Fiona.
