Graduated from Louis W. Fox Vocational and Technical High School in San Antonio, Tx, May, 1967. I received a full academic scholarship to Prairie View A&M College, graduated in May, 1971 with a B.B.A. in Business Administration, and a minor in Economics. I moved to Houston, Tx. Worked on a Master's degree in Education in Guidance/Counseling through TSU, an MBA program in Finance, at U Of H, and completed the Life Underwriting Training Certification Program through U Of H. Stayed in Houston for 14 years, worked in Financial Aid at Texas Southern University, in Job Training federal programs with the Dept. Of Labor, I was a Financial Planner with John Hancock Insurance, lastly I was a Personnel Assistant, with The Shamrock Hilton Hotel, and returned to S.A., January 1986.
