Aida's Story

Life Hello to anyone reading this! Here's a quick summary of the last 27 years: Attended UPR in Mayaguez and finally graduated in 1987 as an English major after changing my major 3 times. Moved to Florida about 1 week after graduating. Had many odd jobs then went for an MA in Applied Linguistics at USF in Tampa. Ended up with another MA in Spanish and have been teaching both ESL and Spanish at USF and UT for the past 15 years. I have had opportuni...Expand for more
ties to travel a little to Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Mexico. I finally found somebody who'd put up with me and got married only 5 years ago to Felix, who's from Cuba. We don't have children, but we have two dogs, Brandy & Kahlua. We have a little house in Tampa where both my mom and my brother live. I feel that I have had a good life and would love to be able to share stories with others that I knew back in Ramey.
