Aimee's Story
My story after high school is centered around school, school and more school! I graduated from Millard North in 1990. After high school, I attended UNL where I started dating Nick Limpach (Millard North Class of 1988), who was majoring in mechanical engineering at UNL. Nick and I got engaged when he graduated from UNL in 1993 and then a year later we were married. I graduated from UNL in 1995 with two BS degrees, one in Physical Anthropology and one in Biology. In 1996 I started graduate school at UNMC and graduated with a PhD in Cell Biology and Anatomy in 2001. hile Nick stayed in Omaha and co-founded an engineering firm - Morrissey Engineering. After a two year long-distance relationship, I moved back to Omaha and accepted a job as a faculty member in the Pharmacy department at Creighton University. I've been there since 2003. Nick's engineering firm is still going strong and at this point we don't have any children but we are on the waiting list to adopt a little boy from Korea and a little girl from China. We hope to have some news about that soon! We live on a small lake outside of Omaha in Bennington, NE and when we are not working we keep busy with all kinds of outdoor activities (boating, biking, running, kayaking).
