Al's Story
I'm sort of still living in Bahrain, an island in the Arabian Gulf about 20 miles off the coast of Saudi Arabia. At least I have an apartment there but I've quit working in Iraq and am now back working in Saudi Arabia.
After a career in the military I went back to college and earned a degree in Anthropology/Archaeology. I am single, a widower, and I am enjoying a life of travel. I'm working three months on, one month off.
During my off time I travel to Europe, Eastern Europe, and the former Russian states. I enjoy going to places where few westerners go or have gone. It's interesting going to plac...Expand for more

I bought a small house in Bulgaria and have a boat in Montenegro, formerly Yugoslavia.
I enjoy life between the two countries and spend my time now mostly between Montenegro, Italy, Bulgaria, and Croatia, with some Greek and Albania time as well. I have also recently been spending a lot of time on the canals and rivers of the Netherlands, France, Italy, Germany, Serbia, and Bulgaria.
All of these countries have fascinating archeaology and extremely interesting histories so I have lots to do when I'm there.
