Alan A.'s Story
Hi, everyone.
I was reluctant to join yet another social networking site, but when I saw the names of so many of my old friends from Hauppauge High School, I couldn't resist. It's great to see so many of you here - your postings and messages have brought back many fond memories.
Since I left Hauppauge, in 1965, I have had the great good fortune to share my life with a large number of amazing, creative people and to enjoy a number of varied careers and even a little bit of recognition.

School, I've been an opera singer in Europe, an architect, a serious software developer (I owned and developed dBASE for nine years, wrote 17 articles for computer magazines, wrote or co-authored a couple of books and now develop new Web technology), and a professional photographer.
